And so to Work for our Christmas bash
Dressed to impress and looking flash
Three course meal and complimentary Vino
All that’s missing is a fun casino
Same old people with different looks
Reception, Housekeeping, Events and Cooks
The night warms up and before it ends
The team congregates and starts to blend
The Oscar statue with the golden sword
Celebrating the best dressed award
Dinner over, Disco on, chairs vacated
Start to feel a little alienated
Try my best to speak to all
End up feeling quite anti social
I don’t mind it; it’s not something I fear
I really wish my friends were here
