January 18th

Day off together and away went we
Runnymead via Walton for afternoon tea
Walton was nice, better than thought
Went to do shopping, but nothing bought
Except for wife who purchased sequins
In a lovely dress for wedding weekends
Three weddings this year and a funeral
Rest in peace Auntie Marion, love from us all
To the Runnymead then for cakes and pies
And yes it actually remained a surprise
Finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream
On the banks of the Thames a beautiful scene
Money in the car park a Merc and a Porsche
Celebs having tea oh look its Paul Walsh
The misses tucked in, and put the world to rights
Six sarnies and cakes and expandable tights
Soft pants on all nice and loose
Feeling stuffed, must have been the orange juice
A doggy box with cakes to the lid
Not bad at two for twenty quid
Still got robbed as in the menu I see
Seventeen pounds, buy one get one free
