Egypt free after 30 years within the last hour
Big up to the people who have taken back the power
They were never given a chance, a voice never heard
But they stood together to speak and the world heard every word
A message passed down from father to mother

They were asked if they could do it, they replied yes we can
Stand up and be counted shoulder to shoulder, man to man

On a lighter note, we went out for dinner
Plans out the window for trying to get thinner
Popped out for a Valentine weekend
Couldn’t think of a better way, my time to spend
Did my hair, Karen wore a pretty dress
Headed down to Pizza Express
Chatting away, getting all vocal
From the pizza place we headed to our local local
In to the Sovereigns for a drink or three
Tried pound coins in the quiz machine then 50p
Machine out of order at the start of night
We would have only ended up getting everything right
Out on the town on a Friday night Karen and Gav
Great meal, great chat, me and the best mate you could have
