A lazy Sunday morning in my land
Spoke to Jo and Ma and Pa on the Island
Saturday and Sunday and wife’s off, of course
But later it’s me again being the work horse
Still come Tuesday it’s my time to skive
Time to chill, unwind, recharge and revive
Or I could use the time a little more wise
Round off my squared eyes
Open my mind and my ears
Maybe even earn a few cheeky beers
