Fourth day off in five altogether
Headed to West Sussex in pretty crappy weather
Get down on the floor and roll up my sleeve
Playing rough and tumble with William and Neve
Bought olives, cheese, crisps and biscuits to dunk
Had a lovely lunch and played Ker Plunk
Gave them both a wash and a bed time story
Fireman Sam to the Rescue was our Jackanory
Cups of tea and drinking water in litres
Jo prepared chicken and prawn fajitas
So much food, made my belt a little more loose
Discussing chimleys and boo to a goose
It’s good spending time with a great family and couple
Kids are lovely no real trouble
Chatting and discussing and mulling things over
Making plans for this year’s ROCK-tober
Might be flying with Jo & No in the clouds
But have to ask Frank to see if we are allowed
New kitchen regime has much more pressure
Rinse everything before the dishwasher?
Loads of food which filled a hole
Ate Williams chocolate buttons from his Buzz bowl
Seen all my close family within the last few days
Should do it more often, try to find a way
All this positive energy will keep me sane for a while
Thanks to my family for restoring my inner smile
