Another Bank holiday and another day free
Prince Williams wedding is on the TV
Fill the morning with minor celebs and royal friends
Telling us of the two princes latest trends
What they’ll be eating and at what time
Both pristinely dressed and looking in their prime
As for me I’m wearing my brown cords
Driving up to the Swindish fjords
Heading to Swindon to see our friends celebrate
Hayley and Graham’s wedding not Will and Kate’s
Arrived in Bibury in under two hours
Hoping weather holds as they’ve forecast showers
We’ve packed our very best clothes and shoes
So if the weather does change then we can choose
We will be the second best dressed him and her
Looking our best as we sign the register
Get to the Catherine wheel wipe our feet on the mat
Found our room, luckily we don’t want to swing a cat
A nice little room which will do us for the night
A small wardrobe small telly and small amount of light
A converted old barn with en suite showers
This will do fine for our sleeping hours
A short walk from where the ceremony will be
So we won’t have to fork out for a taxi
After a long day, we decide to go to bed
Tomorrow we will see our friends get wed
