Sunday came and another sunny one
Went to see the favourite child of my Mum
I was in my shorts but the youngest was happy
To run around the garden in just her nappy
A new addition was the soft play set
With rackets and balls and a multi-functional net
Told Nolan about the quest for my new book
He journeyed to ‘middle loft’ to have a look
A lovely chicken salad left us wanting more
Lovingly prepared by Lynn the day before
After kid’s bath and bedtime a hush descended our ears
TV and Easter eggs and ‘Nolan’s Music Dislike Years’
