Our bathroom is empty when the wife is away
All the bottles and potions she needs for one day
The make-up bag and case from the shelf
The conditioning hand cream for continued nail health
Pots of cream to make her smoother
For every action there is an equal remover
Before she retorts or tries to cause a scandal
I own up to owning the bubble bath and candles
What! It helps me relax if I’ve had to be up early
I enjoy a long hot soak, that doesn’t make me girly
I don’t know why she bothers; she doesn’t need this stuff at all
With or without it she always looks beautiful
