Wednesday morning and another slow one
Trying to get my head around today’s pun
Amalgamating my thoughts and my memories
About what the last twenty four hours have done to me
Back to the place with the work offenders
Only after seeing Tom in Eastenders
Strong part and good performances all round
Tom wanted to take the poor girls last pound
He also popped up in the advert for Virgin Media
Now there will be more about him on Wikipedia
Hopefully fame and fortune are Thomas bound
Someone needs to find a great talent as yet unfound
Broke my phone and feel like a fool
Replaced by one that’s proper old school
No camera no radio and as I further inspect
No blue tooth or infrared or even predictive text
My touch type has now gone down the drain
And I'll have to learn how to spell again
It’s not a problem, I don’t mind that much
Another way to help me stay in touch
Put a plea out for all my friends to text me
But only got replies from my close family
Don’t remember numbers, my mind needs jogging
I’ll have to keep in touch by daily rhyme blogging
